AAHC General Meeting Minutes from April 7, 2008 Time: 7:43 pm - Number Present: 29 Prayer & Pledge: Bill Buck Introductions of members and guests Larry introduced guest speakers Program 1: Jenny & Stephanie McDaniel from Garage Town Program 2: John Ball-Antique Auto & Parts Auction Minutes of last meeting - Motion to accept by Gene Gangwer, 2nd by Bob Jordan. Minutes approved by unanimous vote. Treasurer's Report: Bill Buck - Starting balance $4805.70 / Income none / Debits-$20.58 / End balance 4785.12 - Motion to approve report as read by Joe, 2nd by John Horton. Report of Executive Board: Need an audit committee for required audit. Volunteers for committee: Marvin Price, Phil Denette, John Horton. Fred Beyer advised on audit procedure. Report of Standing Committees: Bill Gilmore reported on legislative issues: Tires bill, SB 1167, HB 2280 and an off-road vehicle bill. Old Business: Al Tracy-looking for board nominations at the next general meeting. Jobs vacated by George Woods are filled. Board will need 8-10 nominees. Larry called for nominations. Bill Gilmore reminded board of by-laws on nominations. New Business: Larry Brower trying to revive Toys for Tots drive & Al Tracy added info. Bob Brown-Thinks it can be revived, has ideas for resources. Stephanie McDaniel offered Garage Town facility to host. General discussion and ideas followed. Good of the Order: Bill Gilmore recapped Jenna Bear Show, Bob Brown contacted the Oprah Show. Bill Hochgraef - Model A Restorers' Club Show announcement for December 4-6. Larry-AACA National Show in Tucson is April 26. Door Prizes: Al Tracy officiated, Guest speakers drew. Winners: Bill Hochgraef , John Horton, Barbara Buck, Al Tracy. Tom Whittle won 50/50 $20. Motion to Adjourn: Al Tracy, 2nd by Fred Beyer. Meeting Adjourned: 9:28 pm.
